Slicing radishes for the kindergarteners to taste while they explore the garden.
Braising Brussels sprouts.
First Farmer's Market was today! We didn't have too much produce since it's still early, mostly herbs. I made this sign... my handwriting is pretty slanted, oops.
Not our eggs, but eggs being sold at the Farmer's Market. So colorful!

halfway through my time in Moab
So, I've been in Moab for a month. I'll only be here for one more month. What have I been up to? Well...
Teaching. This was from the 2nd grade lesson on the scientific method. These are big words for second graders! (I hope it isn't bad form to post this online...)
Growing green things.
Exploring the desert.

movies
I currently don't have wifi at my house in Moab. This means I've been watching lots and lots of movies from the library. They have all been excellent! I have never been big on movies, I think my attention span is too short, but I have loved everything I've watched recently. I'm sure anyone reading this is familiar with most of these, but I'd like to share anyways.

| Cria Cuervos (I think this Spanish film from the 70s was a huge influence on Pan's Labyrinth, but it is far more subtle) |

but I want you back/underneath my skin
Eating (vegan) chocolate, thinking about leaving places. Forget what it feels like to arrive.
My job asked me to start early, and I'm driving to Utah, so it looks like I won't get to the monastery before I leave. Thinking about heading to Boulder after Utah. Would like nothing more than to stay in the southwest forever.
Sorry that this blog doesn't have a lot of "content."
